Eight Ball
Drag back and release to shoot — clear your group and sink the 8

How to play
Pocket all seven balls of your group (solids or stripes) and then legally pocket the 8-ball before Player 2 does.
- Drag back from the cue ball and release to shoot — the farther you drag, the harder the shot.
- The table starts open: the first ball you legally pocket after the break decides whether you play solids (1–7) or stripes (9–15).
- Pocket one of your own balls and you shoot again; miss and the turn goes to Player 2.
- Fouls (pocketing the cue ball, hitting nothing, or hitting the other group first) give your opponent ball in hand — tap the table to place the cue ball anywhere.
- Pocket the 8-ball only after your group is gone; sinking it early, or with a foul, loses the match.
Tips
- Look for the ball closest to a pocket with a clear path — an easy pot keeps your turn alive.
- After a foul you can place the cue ball anywhere: line it up straight behind your easiest ball.
